The first singles match of Day 7 begins on Court 2 with an all-Czech affair as Marie Bouzková takes on Markéta Vondroušova. The former French Open finalists has already recorded his best ever run at Wimbledon and is now hoping for a place in the quarters. Bouzková, on the other hand, has been a quarterfinalist at SW19 back in 2021 and will be looking to emulate his run.
Vondroušova leads the head-to-head tie 2-1 although Bouzková had won the last encounter earlier this year at Indian Wells. This will be their first Grand Slam meeting and first on grass court.
