A Pakistani fan has now demonstrated his respect for Kohli through his craftsmanship. The artist created a silhouette art of the Indian batter by using cardboard.

A video of the creative artwork has gone viral on X.

The clip opens with a Korean artist creating a shadow portrait of Harry Potter using a cardboard.

Evidently inspired by the procedure, the Pakistani artist decided to follow the same to develop a shadow art of Kohli.

As seen in the video, the man took out a cardboard box and went on to draw the outline on its lid. Once done, he used scissors to cut off the outlined image, where Kohli could be seen smashing a six in his iconic posture.

The artist then glued the cut-out on the box before adding some other elements to his piece.

As he rotated the box, an amazing shadow of Kohli appeared on the wall.

The artwork unquestionably left X users in awe.

Several Indian fans marked their presence in the comment section, showering plaudits on the Pakistani artist for his exceptional talent.

Underlining the craze about Kohli, a fan said the Indian cricketer has a huge fanbase in Pakistan.

A die-hard Kohli fan believes the Indian batter has been ruling the hearts of every cricket fan.

A fan had ‘goosebumps’ after seeing the final outcome of the shadow art.

Earlier, an Indian artist named Shintu Mourya created a shadow portrait of Kohli by using only matchboxes and sticks.

Mourya shared his artwork on Instagram.

He made the outline with a number of thin wooden strips and attached it to a platform.

When Mourya took the final product against a light source, a smiling face of Kohli emerged on the backdrop.

Kohli is currently involved in the ICC ODI World Cup, underway on Indian soil.

The star Indian batter pulled off a roaring start to the home campaign. In the opening match against Australia, Kohli stepped on the crease at a time when his team was reeling at 2/3.

He partnered with KL Rahul and racked up an inning-reviving 165-run partnership, bringing India back to the contest.

Kohli was dismissed after contributing 85 runs to the scoresheet, while Rahul remained unbeaten at 97 to complete the 200-run chase.
