Bangladesh is expected to carry a 17-member side for the three T20Is against the USA and Taskin will be traveling with the team with team management hopeful of him recovering for the T20 World Cup on time. In case he fails to recover in time, Mahmud will replace him in the side.

USA with their relatively inexperienced side overall, has a chance to upset Bangladesh at home. Ali Khan and Corey Anderson are the two standout names in the team due to their presence in the T20 leagues globally. Both will be key players for their team in the mega event.
