Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) registered a resounding victory over Punjab Kings (PBKS). LSG won the match by a huge margin of 56 runs and now are placed in 2nd position in the points table with an NRR of +0.84. Naveen-ul- Haq was the pick of the bowlers who took 3 wickets and gave away 30 runs in his 4-over spell on a belter of a track.

The decision to back Ayush Badoni at the no.3 position worked well as he scored 43 runs in 24 balls and smashed 7 fours and 4 sixes. Marcus Stoinis played a fascinating knock of 72 runs in 40 balls and hit 6 fours and 5 sixes. It seemed as if LSG’s batters were toying with the PBKS’ bowlers.
