Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli go past MS Dhoni with Champions Trophy title

India secured victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, defeating New Zealand by four wickets. This win marked the fourth ICC title for both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in their respective careers.
The Champions Trophy victory added to their impressive collection of ICC titles. Kohli’s achievements include the 2011 ODI World Cup, 2013 and 2025 Champions Trophy, and 2024 T20 World Cup. Sharma has claimed the 2013, 2025 Champions Trophy and 2007, 2024 T20 World Cup twice each. Both players have now surpassed MS Dhoni’s record for most ICC titles won by an Indian player.
