Lahore Qalandars, however, made sure that they went one step ahead and came up with an exciting gift for their skipper, Shaheen Afridi. The left-arm pacer received a customised 24-carat gold-plated iPhone 16 Pro, and it left many amazed.
The video was posted by the Lahore Qalandars on their social media account, and in that, Shaheen was seen saying: “Ye heavy hai (This is heavy)” as he walked off the field with this gift.

Shaheen Afridi has also been having a decent time with the ball in the league with the ball. The Lahore Qalandars skipper has picked up 5 wickets in the league in the three games that he has played. In their last match against Karachi Kings, they beat the opposition by 65 runs.

“The credit goes to the boys. Always the first game is tough as we have to manage a few things. The ball was kept low last game. Our strength is winning games while bowling second. Credit goes to Fakhar and Billings. The lengths were not there in the first game and lots of players did not play in Pakistan, all our cricket was played outside recently and today the execution was right and everyone did well.”
“When we picked Rishad today, we wanted to take a bowler who takes wickets in the middle overs, Wiese unfortunately had some niggles and Rishad was the best option as Asif Afridi was bowling with the new-ball. Billings is a 360-player and he has the ramps and we expected him to start and finish well.”
