Virat Kohli’s poor form continued in Australia as the veteran was dismissed for just 5 runs in the first innings of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Kohli was surprised by the extra bounce and edged the ball to Usman Khawaja at first slip.
It was a short of a length ball that climbed awkwardly on Kohli as he got an edge through to Khawaja who took one of the easiest catches of his career. It was an excellent ball from Josh Hazlewood, who kept persisting on a tight line and length.
