Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja is not someone who shows his emotions. But Jadeja was visibly thrilled after getting the big wicket of Matt Henry during the first Test between India and New Zealand at Bengaluru.
It is because Henry had hit Jadeja for two successive fours. But the experienced India allrounder came back hard to go through Henry’s attempted slog across the line. During the fifth ball of the 65th over of New Zealand’s innings, Jadeja bowled a quicker and flatter delivery on the stumps.
The ball drifted in from outside off stump as Henry tried to smash the ball across the line towards midwicket. But the ball went on to crash the middle and leg. An expressive Ravindra Jadeja was not afraid to show his emotions after picking up the wicket.
