Middle-order batter Sarfaraz Khan was dismissed by a stunning one-handed catch by Devon Conway off the bowling of Matt Henry during the first Test between India and New Zealand at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
It was the fourth ball of the tenth over of India’s first innings when New Zealand seamer Matt Henry bowled a length ball outside off stump. But in a brain fade moment, Sarfaraz tried to counter-attack and was taken by Devon Conway after diving to his right.
Seeing that the mid-off was wide, Sarfaraz looked to hit the ball straight past Conway. But the youngster could not connect the ball cleanly. Conway, who was standing quite wide, made up good ground and stuck his right hand to take a stunning catch.
