The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is just one sleep away from now. India National Cricket Team will be taking on Australia National Cricket Team in the five-match Test series. The series opener between the teams is all set to take place from 22nd November at the WACA Stadium in Perth.
Both the India National Cricket Team and the Australia National Cricket Team, since last week, have been giving their best to prepare for the series. The players of both teams have put in hard yards and are making sure that they give their everything to get ready.
While on-field preparations for both the teams have been spot on, the off-field preparations, too, have been done. A day ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, the umpires for the Perth Test have been revealed.

Not only this the commentators for the first of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 too have been revealed. The likes of Ravi Shastri, Wasim Akram, Cheteshwar Pujara, Sunil Gavaskar, Sanjay Manjrekar, Jatin Sapru, and Deep Dasgupta will be in the Hindi commentary panel.
Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, and Wasim Akram will also be part of the English commentary panel. They will be joining the likes of Mark Nicholas, Matthew Hayden, Murali Vijay, and Russell Arnold.

The Test series between the two teams will also be part of the ICC World Test Championship. The two teams are fighting for a place in the final and are currently in the top two spots in the table. The series will depict the future of both teams in the final.
Pat Cummins will be leading the Australia team, while Jasprit Bumrah will be captaining India in the opening Test. Regular skipper Rohit Sharma, due to family reasons, hasn’t joined the team yet and will be available for the team from the second game of the series in Adelaide. The visitors would be keen to start the series on high and take an early lead in the series.
