Travis Head picks the 'hottest' Indian player and it's not Virat Kohli or Shubman Gill

NEW DELHI: Australia’s star batter Travis Head shared his pick for the hottest Indian player ahead of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). While discussing India’s pace attack, Head commented that Jasprit Bumrah “has some work to do on himself.”
When it came to choosing the hottest player – combining physical attractiveness and cricketing skill – Head didn’t hesitate to name India’s captain, Rohit Sharma. Praising Rohit’s style and prowess, Head hailed him as the ultimate package on and off the field.
“I don’t think he’s that good-looking. Potentially [he’s got some work to do]. I think there’s been hotter. I like Rohit’s work and I am happy with the Dad setup, I think he’s got the most style out of all of them. He stands at the top, takes them on, double stepping blokes in the powerplay. Both [physical attractiveness and cricketing skills],” Head said while speaking on 7 Cricket.

“I think people will [find him attractive]. Yeah, I just like the way he gets about it, Yeah, around the sheds. I am happy with it, I am happy with his setup. Jasprit, got some work to do. Maybe, after the Test matches [you pass that on],” he added.
The much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia kicks off on November 22, with the first Test at Perth. The second Test, featuring the day-night format, will take place under lights at Adelaide Oval from December 6 to 10. Fans will then turn their attention to The Gabba in Brisbane for the third Test from December 14 to 18.
The traditional Boxing Day Test, scheduled from December 26 to 30 at Melbourne’s iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, will mark the series’ penultimate stage.
The fifth and final Test will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3 to 7, promising an exciting climax to a highly anticipated series.
