Pakistan U19 National Cricket Team batter Shahzaib Khan achieved a massive feat against the India U19 National Cricket Team. The youngster now has the highest individual score by any batter against Boys in Blue in the history of the U19 Asia Cup.
Pakistan U19 batter Shahzaib Khan achieved the feat in the ongoing game against India U19 in the U19 Asia Cup 2024. The two arch-rivals are locking horns at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

Shahzaib came up with a sensational effort with the bat in the ongoing game to put the Pakistan U19 in the dominating position and made a mockery of the India U19 National Cricket Team bowlers.
Opening the batting, Shahzaib Khan hardly put a foot wrong in the innings and was all over the opposition right from the start. He, along with Usman Khan (60), gave a great start to the team and set the platform with their staggering 160-run opening partnership.
Shahzaib Khan played a magnificent innings of 159 runs off 147 balls. He also was crisp with his boundary hitting as he slammed 10 sixes and five fours. Not only did he put the Pakistan U19 National Cricket Team in a dominating position, but he also scripted history.
His knock of 159 is now the highest knock for the Pakistan U19 team in a Youth ODI match. He surpassed the record of Shamyl Hussain, who had made 150 in a match against Sri Lanka U19 in 2023. Abdul Razzaq had held the record earlier when he made 142 against Australia U19 in 1997.

Not only this, it is also the highest score in the U19 Asia Cup. With the way he was going, the batter was looking all set for a double ton but was dismissed in the last over of the innings as he was caught out by Hardik Raj off Samarth Nagaraj.
His staggering innings with the bat helped Pakistan reach 281/7 in their fifty overs. After the opening start, India made a valiant comeback. The boys in green were cruising at 130/3 but, after that, lost a few quick wickets. Samrath Nagraj was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 3/45.
