‘Sab kuch bilkul thanda rakha…’: Sachin Tendulkar’s hilarious response to Shoaib Akhtar after India rout Pakistan | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: As India fired on all cylinders to register and emphatic seven-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan in front of a packed house at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, legendary Sachin Tendulkar took a cheeky dig at former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar, teasing him on their eight straight defeat against the Men in Blue in the marquee tournament.
Skipper Rohit Sharma emerged as the undisputed star as India took their ODI World Cup score line to 8-0 against the neighbours.
On the eve of the match, Shoaib in a social media post had asked Pakistan to keep their cool in the high-octane clash against India. Along with the tweet Shoaib had also shared his photo, dismissing Sachin in a Test match during his first tour of India as a player.”Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh,” Akhtar wrote on X.
On Saturday, as soon as India crushed Pakistan, Sachin came up with a response of his own, telling Shoaib what he asked Pakistan to do was done by the Indian players with ease.
Sachin, who usually stays away from social media banters, made an exception after India’s triumph, coming up with a cheeky jibe at Akhtar.
“My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha…,” Sachin wrote on X after India’s win.

During the match, Shoaib was also involved in a banter with former India opener Virender Sehwag.
While the Pakistan batters were hitting boundaries earlier in their innings, the crowd in the stadium was in complete silence. Commenting on the quite in the stadium, Shoaib wrote,” Wah re yeh khamosh chokkay!!.”
After Pakistan’s shock collapse in the latter half of their innings, Sehwag came up with the perfect response to Shoaib’s jibe saying, ” Shayad khamoshi ke chauke dekhkar Pakistani batsman ne jaldi jaldi pavillion lautne ki thaan li. Jhel nahi paaye yaar pressure. Haha..Koi nahi Shoaib Bhai. Na Ishq Na Pyaar mein.. Jo Maza 8-0 ki haar mein!”

With the commanding victory over Pakistan, India now have three wins on the trot at the ongoing World Cup.
