India National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma’s stars seem to be in turmoil at the moment, and that’s not a good sign at all for the side ahead of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Despite continuous practice sessions in Mumbai after returning from the disastrous Australia tour, his poor form has continued even in domestic cricket.
Rohit made his Ranji Trophy comeback after 10 years, but only to make it memorable for the Jammu and Kashmir pacer Umar Nazir Mir. The Indian captain is currently playing for Mumbai in their ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024-25 clash at the MCA Cricket Ground.

After Mumbai captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat first, there were high hopes from India’s regular openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit, but both of them disappointed the team and the fans as well by cheaply losing their wickets to Jammu and Kashmir.

The Hitman faced 19 balls for just 3 runs before being caught out by Paras Dogra at the MCA Cricket Ground to extend his miserable run with the bat. Following the Indian skipper’s yet another failure, fans are making a mockery of Rohit for not being able to take on the domestic bowlers.
