In what has been the latest development, as per the reports in PTI, it is learned that India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma is all set to tour England for the Test series. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the five-match Test series, starting on 20th June at Headingley in Leeds.
Ever since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 has ended, Rohit Sharma’s future as a player as well as captain in Test is under the scanner. The opening batter failed terribly in Australia, and even his leadership was below par, which saw the team miss a spot in the final of the ICC World Test Championship.
There were several reports that stated that Rohit Sharma has already played his last game in the longest format and won’t be travelling to England. However, the latest reports in PTI stated that if he is fit, he will be leading the team in the series.
