India’s white-ball sensation Rinku Singh has gifted a sports bike to his father, Khanchand Singh, and the video of the proud dad riding the bike has gone viral on social media besides warming the hearts of the big-hitting cricketer’s fans.
The bike, Kawasaki Ninja 400, is valued at over Rs 5 lakh.
Rinku’s father used to deliver cooking gas cylinders and struggled to raise the family. However, Rinku’s rise to fame, thanks to his exploits in the Indian Premier League (IPL) changed the family’s fortunes.

The video shows Rinku’s father, who continues to work, going to the gas agency on the bike.
Since hogging limelight with his big hits for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, Rinku has played two ODIs and 30 T20Is for India
He will next be seen in national colours in the T2OI series against England, beginning January 22, followed by the IPL.
In personal life, Rinku has got engaged to Priya Saroj, daughter of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Tufani Saroj from Kerakat.
