Virat Kohli, on Saturday (May 18), came up with the ‘shush’ celebration after the dismissal of Ajinkya Rahane in the ongoing game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Set a target of 219 runs, CSK were off to a disastrous start as their in-form skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad departed for a golden duck. Glenn Maxwell dismissed Gaikwad on the very first ball of the innings to give RCB the crucial early breakthrough. In the third over Yash Dayal sent back Daryl Mitchell for 4 to reduce CSK to 19 for 2 and put RCB in the driver’s seat.
Rachin Ravindra and Ajinkya Rahane then steadied the ship and also made sure to score at a healthy rate to keep their team in the hunt. The duo took the score past the 50-run mark and were well set when Lockie Ferguson broke the stand by dismissing Rahane to give RCB a much-needed breakthrough.
On the first ball of the tenth over, the New Zealand star sent back Rahane to end the dangerous partnership. Rahane departed after scoring 33 runs and sharing a crucial 66-run stand with Ravindra. As Rahane was dismissed, the cameras turned towards Virat Kohli who came up with an interesting celebration.
After a few fist pumps, Virat Kohli turned back towards the stand and put his finger on his lips as he seemingly told the CSK fans to stay quiet.

Faf du Plessis top-scored for his side, scoring 54 runs while the likes of Virat Kohli (47), Rajat Patidar (41), and Cameron Green (38*) also played crucial knocks.
RCB need to restrict CSK to less than 201 runs to qualify for the playoffs while CSK will be able to make it to the next stage if they score at least 201 runs.
