Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, and Nathan Lyon achieved the feat in the ongoing first Test of the five-match Test series against the India National Cricket Team. The series opener of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is taking place at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Out of the 500 wickets that they have taken, Pat Cummins has taken 130 wickets, while Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc have 124 each. Off-spinner Nathan Lyon has contributed, and his tally reads 22 scalps while playing with the three frontline pacers. With the way they are going, the wickets tally is only expected to increase.
They are followed by England’s quartet of James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes, and Moeen Ali. They took 415 scalps while playing together in the longest format of the game. But the tally will not increase as Stokes is the only active player in international cricket left now.

Josh Hazlewood was the pick of the bowlers for the Australia National Cricket Team in the first innings. He picked four wickets and removed big names in Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli along with Jasprit Bumrah and Harshit Rana.

Mitchell Starc, on the other hand, removed both the Indian openers. He sent packing Yashasvi Jaiswal for a duck and KL Rahul for 27 runs. Skipper Pat Cummins also bagged two scalps as he removed two best Indian batters, Rishabh Pant and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
Along with the pace trio, Mitchell Marsh also picked two wickets as the Australian National Cricket Team bundled out the India National Cricket Team for just 150 runs. For India, Nitish Kumar Reddy (41) and Rishabh Pant (37) were the top run-getters for the team.
