India sprung out huge surprises just before the first ODI against England in Nagpur as two youngsters received their ODI debuts. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was finally handed his maiden ODI cap after having successful outings in Tests and T20Is.
Along with Jaiswal, fast bowler Harshit Rana was also handed his maiden ODI cap. While it was the captain Rohit Sharma who presented Jaiswal with his maiden ODI cap, Harshit Rana’s cap was given by the veteran fast bowler Mohammed Shami.
The social media was buzzing after two surprise debuts of both these young cricketers. The users anticipated whether India is preparing for the upcoming Champions Trophy by giving chances to these youngsters.
