NEW DELHI: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma shared insights into the batters he currently enjoys watching. During a conversation on Dubai Eye 103.8 Radio Station, Rohit, who is currently representing Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), revealed his admiration for England opener Zak Crawley and Australian opener Steve Smith as two players he particularly enjoys watching.
“I watched Zak Crawley very closely this season and enjoyed watching him bat.I also enjoyed Steve Smith’s batting, although he is different from the rest, I mean he has the ability to deal with things in the middle. has his own way but he is successful,” said Rohit.
Crawley, aged 26, primarily shines as a Test batter for England. In his 44 Test appearances, he has amassed 2,611 runs at an average of 32.63 and an impressive strike rate of 64.67.
