Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Nicholas Pooran looked a class apart with the bat in the ongoing game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad is hosting the game between the teams.
Nicholas Pooran, who walked out to bat at number three, has completely taken the game away from Sunrisers Hyderabad. The keeper-batter looked aggressive right from the start, putting the opposition bowlers under pressure right from the start to take his team to a flying start.
Nicholas Pooran carried on his golden touch with the bat as he made sure that he slammed his second consecutive fifty of the season. The southpaw, in particular, looked threatening against spinners as he slammed Abhishek Sharma and Adam Zampa all over the park.
Nicholas Pooran brought his half-century in just 18 balls, which speaks of the kind of brutal batting effort that he displayed. The left-hander registered the fastest half-century of the century and took his team past 100 runs with utmost ease.
What caught the attention of many was the celebration of Nicholas Pooran after he reached his half-century. He got to his fifty with a massive six and then blew a flying kiss, making almost everyone, including Sanjiv Goenka, stand and applaud him.
