Chennai Super Kings (CSK) keeper-batter MS Dhoni came up with a magical effort behind the stumps in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians (MI). The third game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
In what was a moment of brilliance, MS Dhoni produced a lighting quick stumping behind the stumps to remove Mumbai Indians stand-in skipper Suryakumar Yadav. The right-hander was looking solid with the bat, and it needed something special to remove him.
On the third ball of the 11th over, Noor Ahmad bowled a delivery that spun away, and Suryakumar Yadav went for a big booming inside-out drive. The Mumbai Indians batter played for a leg spin, but it spun away, and MS Dhoni behind the stumps came up with a brilliant effort.
MS Dhoni behind the stumps affected the stumping even before Suryakumar Yadav completed the bat swing. His hands didn’t go back on the gather and came up with the aggressive forward push towards the stumps to send the Mumbai Indians batter packing.
