Marnus Labuschagne was at the receiving end of some tough bowling by the Indian pacers
Australia’s No.3 Marnus Labuschagne was at the receiving end of some tough bowling by the Indian pacers. The batter also has been engaged with face off in particular with Mohammed Siraj as well as the young debutant Harshit Rana.
While Marnus Labuschagne exchanged stares, he was engaged in a conflict with Mohammed Siraj. On the third ball of the 13th over, the fast bowler bowled a short of length delivery nipping back in and thudding the thigh pad.
The ball was going closing to the stump, and Mohammed Siraj, in his followthrough, wanted to pick up the ball and had shy at stumps. But l Marnus Labuschagne pushed the ball away with his bat in an attempt to avoid the ball crashing into the stumps.
This didn’t please Siraj as Marnus Labuschagne wasn’t exactly in the crease and wanted to kick it onto the stumps. The pacer then even complained to the umpire about the same before the two players went on to exchange some words as well.

Mohammed Siraj gets his revenge as he sends Marnus Labuschagne packing

Siraj, however, got his revenge as he went on to send Marnus Labuschagne packing. The pacer bowled a full ball that pitched just outside off. The ball jagged in to hit the pad as the batter was beaten after he attempted to play the flick.

Jasprit Bumrah has been the star bowler for the India National Cricket Team in the ongoing innings. The pacer has picked four wickets while Mohammed Siraj, who has picked two wickets, and Harshit Rana who has one scalp, have supported him well.
