Kidambi Srikanth of India finished as runner-up in the Malaysia Masters badminton event after a loss against World No.4 Li Shi Feng of China on Sunday.
Srikanth—playing his first final since the World Championships back in 2021—lost 11-21, 9-21 in a match that lasted 36 minutes.

In the semifinal, the 32-year-old, dished out a superlative game, showing glimpses of his vintage self with sharp net play and attacking flair to outwit World No. 23 Yushi Tanaka 21-18, 24-22 in a thrilling contest.
