Winter weather has surged through the northern region, causing multiple tracks to cancel racing due to the high winds and winter precipitation. Mahoning Valley and Parx Racing both announced the cancellations of their Feb. 17 crads. Aqueduct previously announced its cancellation of racing for Feb. 16 and 17.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory warning for Delaware, northeast Maryland, northwest, central and southern New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania until 6 p.m. ET. Both tracks are scheduled to resume racing Feb. 18, with Parx’s first post at 12:05 p.m. ET, and Mahoning Valley at 12:15 p.m.
