Mumbai Indians have received a massive boost ahead of their game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. As per the reports in India Today, it is learned that the premier pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, is all set to join the team in the next two days.
The reports claimed that Jasprit Bumrah will be fit for the Mumbai Indians’ game against Delhi Capitals. The game between the two teams is all set to take place on Sunday (13th April) at the Arun Jaitley International Cricket Stadium in Delhi.

Mumbai Indians is next slated to lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The match will be taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday (7th April). If the reports are to be believed, then Jasprit Bumrah will be missing this game as well and will be joining the team after that clash.
The game against Delhi Capitals will be the first match for Bumrah after the last game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, which took place at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. During the first innings of that game, the pacer experienced pain in his back and then was off the field for the rest of the game.

Bumrah has been out of the action since BGT as he was advised to rest by the medical team. The premier pacer missed the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as well and it was expected that he would be fit by the time the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 would start.
But, just ahead of the league, some reports claimed that Jasprit Bumrah would be missing the first few games and would return for the game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). But that, too, wasn’t the case, as he now has missed all four games that the franchise has played.
