Dhoni was among the few players who joined the Chennai Super Kings early, and since then, he has been putting a hard yard in the nets. The former skipper of the franchise has been hitting big sixes in the nets and also has been passing on inputs to the various youngsters as well.
Dhoni, 43, has been working hard on his fitness, and with the way he is showing up, it seems that he can play for another few years. Maintaining fitness at this age surely is one of the hard tasks, but the keeper-batter has been making sure that he stays true to his work ethic.

“I just met him recently at one of our friend’s daughter’s weddings. He looked very fit and solid. I asked him, ‘What you are doing at this age, isn’t it tough?’ He said, ‘Yes, it’s difficult, but this is the only thing I like doing. I find joy in it. I want to do it, go out and play.’
“As long as the hunger is there, you will be able to do it. It’s hard without playing any cricket (throughout the year). He is showing how it’s done. He must be doing something better than the others. He is not just surviving, he is dominating all the bowlers.”
