Mumbai Indians batter Rohit Sharma made sure that he got involved in the game against Lucknow Super Giants even though he isn’t part of the playing XI. The match between the two teams in the IPL 2025 is taking place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Rohit Sharma, who missed the game due to a knee injury, was on the field when Mumbai Indians came under pressure. This was because Lucknow Super Giants openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram were all over the Hardik Pandya-led side with the bat.
During the timeout, Rohit Sharma, along with the other support staff of Mumbai Indians, walked out to give inputs to the team. However, what caught the attention of many was he was seen giving captaincy lessons to Suryakumar Yadav and not skipper Hardik Pandya.
