Jasprit Bumrah looks to be at his best after using his infamous yorker to clean up Australia’s Glenn Maxwell in the third ODI at Rajkot.

India has been on the receiving end as the bowlers have been getting smashed with Australia setting a target of 353 in their quota of 50 overs. But in the midst of all the batting glory, Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah managed to whip out the infamous yorker to get the wicket of Glenn Maxwell.

Glenn Maxwell made his return to the side. He played his last ODI in March, 2023 against India. The Australian side eagerly awaited the return of two stars, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc as the two will aim to be at their best for the upcoming 2023 ICC ODI World Cup.

Glenn Maxwell will be disappointed with his innings as this was his only game where he could play against a full-strength opposition in an official ODI before their World Cup campaign begins.

He had picked up an ankle injury during the T20i series against South Africa and before that, he chose to go back to his family due to the birth of his first child.

In the case of Jasprit Bumrah, all eyes will be on him as the Indian fanbase will hope that he does not pick up any injuries he is arguably one of India’s most important bowlers due to his ability to bowl at any aspect of the innings and help contribute to the side with wickets or dot balls.

He will be part of a deadly bowling lineup including the likes of Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav whose spots for the World Cup playing XI look to be confirmed. It is whether India will continue to persist with Shardul Thakur or bring back the experienced pacer in Mohammed Shami that is yet to be seen.
