Swiggy and Rishabh Pant to co-own the Mumbai Pickle Power Pickleball team

Swiggy announced that it has joined hands with ace Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant to co-own Mumbai Pickle Power, ahead of the inaugural season of World Pickleball League (WPBL), India’s first and only official global franchise-based pickleball league.

Rishabh Pant said, “I am pleased to partner with Swiggy for the Mumbai Pickle Power franchise in the World Pickleball League. The excitement around pickleball is contagious and I personally love the sport. I wanted to invest into the World Pickleball League to take the sport to the next level. I couldn’t have found a better partner than Swiggy, where we share the same vision to amplify the popularity and excitement around pickleball.”

Honda’s CRF450 Rally to tour India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) announced the India tour of the CRF450 Rally, the ultimate off-road machine & Team Honda Racing Corporation’s weapon of choice for the legendary Dakar Rally.

The Honda CRF450 Rally will traverse key cities in India, including Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Indore, and Gurugram. The tour will take place from January 2025 to March 2025, and it is aimed at igniting the spirit of adventure and performance that defines Honda’s DNA.

The CRF450 Rally will be on display at Honda BigWing Topline dealerships and Adventure Camps across India.

Most recently, Honda achieved a runner-up position at the prestigious 2025 Dakar Rally. There was a double celebration in Saudi Arabia with a second consecutive Dakar Rally double podium for Monster Energy Honda HRC as Tosha Schareina & Adrien Van Beveren took second and third place at the 47th edition of the world-famous motorsport event.

Faisal shows the door to fifth seed Ranjeeth in national ranking tourney

Rajasthan’s unseeded Faisal Qamar showed the door to Tamil Nadu’s fifth-seeded V.M. Ranjeeth 6-4, 6-7 (1), 6-4 and entered the men’s quarterfinal of the Naushad Mather memorial National-ranking tennis tournament at the Regional Sports Centre in Kochi on Wednesday.

The women’s fifth seed, Telangana’s Chevika Reddy, also crashed out losing to Karnataka’s unseeded Hridayeshi Pai 3-6, 5-7.

Olympians Mairaj, Raiza lead Digvijay Singh shotgun championship

Mohd. Hamza Sheikh and Olympian Mairaj Ahmad Khan led with 49 out of 50 after two rounds of skeet in the third Digvijay Singh shotgun championship at the Madhya Pradesh Academy on Wednesday.

The duo was followed one point away by Harmehar Singh Lally, Rituraj Singh Bundela, Asian Games silver medallist Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Gurjoat Singh Khangura and Abhay Singh Sekhon.

In the women’s section, Olympian Raiza Dhillon led with 48, following rounds of 25 and 23. She was followed by World Cup medallist Ganemat Sekhon and Karttiki Singh Shaktawat with 47.

Darshna Rathore (45), Rashmmi Rathore (44), Yashasvi Rathore, Parinaaz Dhaliwal, Mansi Raghuwanshi, Kajal Singh Baghel, Vanshika Tiwari (43).
