Team India created history with an embarrassing record even before facing a single ball against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025. The Men in Blue achieved this record during the toss time.
Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Rizwan tossed up the coin and India’s captain Rohit Sharma called heads. However, the coin returned in Rizwan’s favor who opted to bat first on a pitch that is expected to get slower as the game progresses.

As Rohit Sharma lost the toss, the Men in Blue created an embarrassing record. India have now lost 12 tosses in a row in ODI cricket. It is the most no. of tosses lost by any team in a row in the ODI format.
