IND vs ZIM Match Preview- 4th T20I, India tour of Zimbabwe 2024

India and Zimbabwe are set to lock horns in the 4th game of the ongoing T20 series. IND vs ZIM 4th T20 takes place on Saturday, July 13. Harare Sports Club in Harare city of Zimbabwe will host the IND vs ZIM 4th encounter. 

Shubman Gill and Sikandar Raza are the skippers of India and Zimbabwe respectively in the series and have done a great job in leading their sides.

However, Shubman Gill has been more successful by winning the last two games while Raza won the opening game with his side. Ahead of India vs  Zimbabwe 4th T20 2024; below is the preview of the match.

The IND vs ZIM 4th T20I is scheduled to be played on July 1, Saturday at Harare Sports Club in Harare City- the capital of Zimbabwe. The match begins at 4:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).

Shubman Gill leads India in the series and they have won two games out of three. India won the second T20I by 100 runs and 3rd T20 by 23 runs.

Zimbabwe

Sikandar Raza leads Zimbabwe in IND vs ZIM T20 series. They won the opening game by a close margin of 13 runs. However, the host lost the next two games against India.

IND vs ZIM Key Battles

Shubman Gill vs Blessing Muzarabani 

Shubman Gill is the skipper of India in the series and has shown decent form in the IND vs ZIM T20 series. He will look for another great knock in the next match but Blessing Muzarabani needs to stop him at the start. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad vs Sikandar Raza 

Rituraj Gaikwad has played at one down and has been an impeccable batter for India. Sikandar Raza needs to stop him with his spin attack if Gaikwad goes big in the next game too. 

Dion Myers vs Mukesh Kumar

Dion Myers played a wonderful knock in the previous game but failed to drive Zimbabwe to victory. He is a highly intellectual better for for host and would look for a similar knock in the next game. Mukesh Kumar has been wonderful for India and will aim to outplay him with his pace attack. 

IND vs ZIM Key Players

IND- Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Rinku Singh have slammed mammoth knocks in the series. Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, and Mukesh Kumar are in good form in bowling. 

ZIM- Wesley Madhevere, Luke Jongwe, and Brian Bennett have been impressive with the bat, however, none of them has scored a fifty so far. Dion Mayers scored a fifty in the last match. Tendai Chatara and Sikandar Raza have been good at bowling. 

IND vs ZIM Weather And Pitch Report

The IND vs ZIM match takes place at Harare Sports Club and there is no chance of rain during the match. Hence, the weather will not impact the game. The pitch is good for batting due to its flatness and bounce. Seamers will also enjoy a good outing. 

Conclusion

The IND vs ZIM 4th T20I is likely to be won by India but we cannot judge the hosts in advance. It will be interesting to see if Zimbabwe makes another strong show in the India tour of Zimbabwe 2024.
