India pacer Arshdeep Singh is having a great outing with the ball in the ongoing warmup game against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match between the teams is underway at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York.
India opted to bat first and they had a decent outing with the bat, scoring 182 runs on the board. With the ball, they were off to a flying start, thanks to Arshdeep Singh as he oozed his class with the new ball and troubled the batters with his swing upfront.
After removing Soumya Sarkar for a duck, Arshdeep Singh made sure that he provided his team with another breakthrough. The fast bowler came up with a magnificent ball and removed Litton Das to draw the second blood for Team India at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York.
Arshdeep Singh bowled a nip-backer that nipped back in from a length and caught Litton Das in the crease. The batter was late in getting the bat down as he was playing with an angle as well. The ball grazed the inside edge and crashed into the top of the off-stump.

Litton Das scored 6 runs off 8 balls and with his wicket, Bangladesh were left tottering at 7/2. In his first two overs, Arshdeep Singh gave away just 2 runs and conceded 3 runs, making sure he takes his team to a dream start at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York.
After the start by Arshdeep Singh, pacer Mohammed Siraj chipped in. The pacer removed Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto before Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya chipped in as well to leave Bangladesh tottering at 41/5.
Rishabh Pant stars with bat as India post a total of 182 runs in a warmup game
India had a great outing with the bat after winning the toss. Skipper Rohit Sharma (23) at the top looked in good touch and played some crisp shots before Rishabh Pant, who came to bat at No.3, slammed a magnificent half-century.
Rishabh Pant scored 53 runs while Suryakumar Yadav (31) also managed to get some runs under his belt. In the middle, India struggled to get going as Shivam Dube (14) tried to hit some runs but couldn’t as he perished early.
Hardik Pandya in the end made sure that he oozes his class with the bat. The all-rounder, who didn’t look in good touch with bat in IPL, played a brutal innings in the end. He scored an unbeaten 40 runs off 23 balls to take his team to a total of 182 runs on the board.
