Glenn Maxwell caught a blinder as he dismissed Indian skipper Rohit Sharma at a crucial juncture in the third ODI between India vs Australia.

The Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is known to be a threat in any aspect of the game, be it batting, bowling or fielding. He displayed his all-round skills yet again as he managed to dismiss the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma with a blinder of a catch off his own bowling.

Maxwell was bowling against Rohit Sharma in the 21st over when the batter managed to smack one straight to Maxwell. The bowler only happened to put his hands near the trajectory of the ball but managed to get the catch and dismiss the dangerous batter.

Rohit was looking good as he managed to get the innings off to a good start with boundaries coming off the start of the innings which gave India a massive boost.

An interesting decision that India took was to send Washington Sundar up the order to open with the Indian captain. But his innings did not come to any significant contributions as he was dismissed for a mere 18 off 30 balls. But King Kohli managed to put the chance back on track thanks to a half-century from him yet again.

The Australian batting took full advantage of the flat track as they managed to set a target of 353 runs in their quota of 50 overs setting a high target for the Indian batters. They were able to set such a high total thanks to contributions from David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne who all scored 56, 96, 74 and 72 runs respectively.

Maxwell will look to use the time and hone his bowling skills as he looks to get himself in form with both the ball and the bat. He returned to the Australian ODI side along with fellow pacer, Mitchell Starc, who made their return to the ODI side in March, earlier this year. Maxwell will be looking to get his bowling on point and look to make full use of his experience playing in India as the Australian side looks to begin their World Cup campaign.
