Indian men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir is enjoying a well-deserved vacation in France with his family, including his wife Natasha and their two daughters, Aazeen and Anaiza.
Gambhir travelled to Western Europe last week after leading India to victory in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, marking the team’s third triumph in this prestigious tournament, following wins in 2002 and 2013.

On March 9, India clinched the title by defeating New Zealand by four wickets in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
This holiday is a much-needed break for the former cricketer after a busy international season.
Gambhir faced plenty of criticism following India’s loss against New Zealand, at home, and Australia, away, in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It was followed by Gambhir guiding the Men in Blue to Champions Trophy title – their first 50-over ICC success in 12 years.
To recognise the Indian team’s outstanding performance in Dubai, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a generous prize of Rs 58 crore.
During the tournament, India topped Group A with victories over Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand, later defeating Australia in the semifinals before clinching the title against New Zealand.
Currently, the Indian cricketers are competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with their respective franchises.
Gambhir, not part of the IPL anymore, had led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to their third title last season. Following his success with KKR, Gambhir was appointed head coach of the Indian team, succeeding Rahul Dravid after the 2024 T20 World Cup.
As far as Gambhir is concerned, he, and the Indian cricket team, will next be involved in the five-Test tour of England which begins on 20 June. It will be followed by series against Bangladesh (away), West Indies (home) and South Africa (home).
