Hardik Pandya reveals his game plans
While speaking to Star Sports, Hardik Pandya revealed that there is no set game plan but he likes to play according to the situation just to make the target easy for his team. Pandya also made a big revelation about counting the no. of sixes required in the remaining no. of balls to win the game.
“See, there is no set plan but I’ve always played by keeping the scoreboard and the team’s requirements in mind. Whenever I’m chasing, I always count on my fingers about the no. of sixes and singles needed by me,” Pandya said.
“If I know that I need 50 off 24 balls, I can score 36 runs by hitting six sixes and will have a buffer of ten balls. So, I take those chances during that time,” the allrounder added.

Hardik Pandya has finished a no. of games for Mumbai Indians ever since his IPL debut for the franchise in 2015. Apart from 2022 and 2023 when he played for Gujarat Titans, he has played for MI all throughout these years.

The MI captain further mentioned that he wants his dressing room to be calm whenever he’s batting. He also spoke about not wanting his batters to come into a situation when things are out of control.
“At the same point of time, I’ve taken pride that whenever I’m batting, I like my dressing room to be calm. I don’t want the upcoming batters to come in a very awkward place. That’s why I like to do what is required,” he concluded.
Pandya is known for his big hits whenever he is batting at the crease. The right-hander is not only an excellent finisher with the bat but is also a capable fast bowler who can deliver in any situation in a game.
