Something Extra 2/1 defending champion of this race, Gail Cox trained gelding had six starts last year – a terrific win in the 2014 Highlander followed a second behind Excaper in the 2014 Connaught Cup in May and a third, just a length back in the Grade 3 Shakertown Stakes at Keeneland April 12. He was second in the minor Kentucky Downs Turf Dash, fourth in the Grade 2 Play the King Stakes at here in August and ended 2014 with a tenth in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint. Something Extra has three wins, three seconds and a third place finish in eight starts on Woodbine turf and is expected to be competitive again Sunday. Eurico Rosa Da Silva will be in the reins of the morning line favorite and 123 pound top weight from post 3 trying to keep his good 2015 form going.

Katie’s Eyes 5/2 – Michael Stidham trained filly has placed in eight of 10 career starts – five wins and three third place finishes. She enters on an impressive four race win streak – the minor Unbridled Stakes at Churchill Downs May 9, the minor Giant’s Causeway Stakes at Keeneland April 11 and two Allowance races at Keeneland to start her year. Katie’s Eyes hasn’t been touched this year and should be in the mix in her graded stakes bow Sunday. Patrick Husbands gets the mount from the outside post 7.

Mosler 7/2 – legendary trainer Bill Mott sends out Mosler who has four wins and a second place finish in 10 career starts. He enters of a sixth in the Grade 3 Jaipur Invitational at Belmont Park June 6 after a nice win in the minor Elusive Quality Stakes in that same track in April and a couple more off-the-board finishes in graded stakes action – a ninth in the Grade 3 Fred W. Hooper Stakes in February and a sixth in the Grade 2 Ft. Lauderdale Stakes in January. Mosler has placed in just one of his last four starts overall but is hopes for a bounce back Sunday.
