Young Kolkata Knight Riders and India D fast bowler Harshit Rana has been breathing fire with the ball in the ongoing game against India C in the Duleep Trophy 2024. The Day 1 of the match between the two teams is underway at the Ananthpur.
After India D got all out for just 164 runs, they started aggressively with the ball. The credit for that goes to young pacer Harshit Rana, who has been nothing short of exceptional with the ball. He has bowled impeccable lines and lengths and has troubled the opposition big time.
Not only has Harshit Rana been spot-on with lines and lengths, but he also took his team off to a flying start with the ball. The fast bowler made the new ball talk and removed both the openers of India C Sai Sudharsan and skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Among the two wickets, the scalp of Ruturaj Gaikwad caught the attention of many because of the celebration that he brought up. The fast bowler bowled a delivery that took the outside edge of the opposition skipper’s bat and was caught by the fielder in the slips.
As Ruturaj Gaikwad was walking back, Harshit Rana came up with a brutal celebration. The fast bowler gave him a flying kiss send-off and the video of that went viral on the internet within seconds after the batter was dismissed.

Harshit Rana notably was in the news during the Indian Premier League 2024 because of his flying kiss celebrations. The fast bowler came up with a similar kind of celebration when he dismissed Mayank Agarwal in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was also banned by the BCCI for the same celebration.
