Gautam Gambhir breaks silence on dressing room rift tensions after crushing ENG

India National Cricket Team head coach Gautam Gambhir lashed out at the rumors of things not being well in the dressing room. He said that there will be a lot of talks when things don’t go their way, but no one will say anything when they win.

India National Cricket Team under Gautam Gambhir has been having a roller coaster ride. While the team is struggling to get going in Tests and ODIs, they have been right on the money in the shortest format of the game under Suryakumar Yadav.

Gautam Gambhir having a tough time as Test and ODI coach

India National Cricket Team, after having a tough outing in the Tests against New Zealand at home, where they faced a 3-0 loss, and Australia, where they lost the series 3-1, looked solid in the T20I series against the England National Cricket Team in five-match series.

Under Gautam Gambhir, the India National Cricket Team thumped the England National Cricket Team by the margin of 4-1. The Men in Blue were all over the opposition as they dominated the Jos Buttler-led side with both bat and ball in the entire series.

After the Test series loss against Australia, Gautam Gambhir’s position as the head coach came under massive scanner. There were a lot of reports that claimed that things were not right in the Indian dressing room as the head coach’s equation with players wasn’t good.

But now Gautam Gambhir has replied to all the criticism in style. He talked about the rumors, saying that everything falls in place once the team starts winning, highlighting that a lot of things about the dressing room will be said when the team loses. Speaking after fifth T20I, he said:

“There will be so many things said about the dressing room when things are not going okay. But once results start going in your favour, things start falling in place.”
