England takes on Pakistan in the third T20I in Cardiff on Tuesday, May 28. The match starts at 11 pm IST which is 2.30 pm local time.
England are the defending champions of the T20 World Cup and played the second T20I like champions as well. They scored 183/7 with the bat and then bowled out Pakistan for just 160 winning the match by 23 runs.
Each and every player played their role to perfection. Skipper Jos Buttler gave the team a great start with the bat. Scores from Will Jacks and Jonny Bairstow helped the team get to the total which proved enough in the end. However, Buttler will miss the third T20I as he and his wife Louise are expecting a baby. Ben Duckett or Sam Curran can replace him in the XI in the next game.
Jofra Archer shone with the ball taking two wickets on his return. Reece Toplay got the ball to swing early on and the spinners did their job. Every bowler who bowled picked up at least one wicket and gave Pakistan no chance to make a comeback.
Heading into this game, England have a chance to notch up the T20I series win against the Men in Gree. Given their clinical performance in the second T20I, they should stick to the same XI as all of them performed well.
