India National Cricket Team were at the receiving end of poor arrangements at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, where they will be playing the pink-ball game against the Prime Minister’s XI. As per the reports in RaySportz, it is learned that the visitors weren’t given umbrellas during the rain.
The Rohit Sharma-led side is currently in Canberra. They were scheduled to play a two-day warm-up game against Australia’s Prime Minister’s XI. The match was supposed to start on Saturday (30th November), but the rain washed away the opening day of the game.

The Rohit Sharma-led side, as they arrived at the stadium, didn’t get the proper arrangements. As they walked out of the bus, the players didn’t get a proper reception because the rain was very heavy. The players weren’t given the umbrellas while the security guards there were holding them.
The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and other senior players had to walk out in the rain from the bus to the dressing room. In the video that has gone viral on the internet, the players can be seen rushing towards the dressing room while trying to protect themselves from rain.
As the Indian players had to rush from the bus to the dressing room on a slippery path there were chances of potential injuries. Thankfully, no players were harmed and they safely reached the dressing room but questions need to be raised about the poor arrangement by Cricket Australia.

After the first day of the warmup game was washed out, Cricket Australia changed the game to a limited-over clash. The two teams will now be locking horns with each other in a one-day game.
The 50-over match between the Rohit Sharma-led side and the Prime Minister’s XI will now be played on Sunday (1st December). The game is divided into three halves: the first innings, the interval, and the second innings.
The game will serve as preparation for the second Test match against the Australia National Cricket Team. The match between the teams will be taking place at the Adelaide Oval. It will be a pink-ball Test, which is scheduled to kick start on 6th December.
