India clean-swept its opening tie in the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships against Macau, China with a 5-0 dominating win on Wednesday at the Qingdao Conson Sports Centre.

In men’s doubles, the duo of MR Arjun and Chirag Shetty completed its 21-15, 21-9 win over Chon Chi Pui and Weng Kok Vong in 25 minutes.
