Board makes a final decision on Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer

Veteran Indian batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will continue to be part of the top tier in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) 2024-25 central contracts despite stepping away from T20I cricket. Middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer is expected to regain his contract after missing out in the 2023-24 cycle.

Kohli and Sharma, along with Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah, were retained in the top bracket during the 2023-24 central contracts. Rohit, Kohli, and Jadeja will be part of only two formats.
