Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants are currently playing against each other in the fourth game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). The RR vs LSG match is taking place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Both teams are starting their campaign in IPL 2024 with this game. RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first. The captain explained that the pitch was looking good for batting and his team wanted to capitalise on it. On the other hand, LSG skipper KL Rahul also said that his team would have liked to bat first as well.
And as soon as the action began at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, two rare incidents halted the game for a while. The first incident took place right in the first over. Just after two balls were bowled, the wire of the spidercam snapped and halted the action. The cable fell right on the ground before the operators started working on reinstating the cable. It took almost ten minutes before the play finally resumed.

Talking about the game, RR openers could not give their a good start with the bat. After collecting three runs from the first over bowled by Mohsin Khan, Jos Buttler got going by hitting Naveen-ul-Haq for two fours in the second over.
However, the Afghanistan pacer sent back the England star on the final ball of the same over. At the time of writing this report, RR were on 27 for 1 in the fourth over with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson batting.
IPL 2024 got underway earlier this week. In the first game of the tournament, reigning champions Chennai Super Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore before Punjab Kings defeated Delhi Capitals in the second game. In the third game, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in a thriller.
