Las Vegas, NV – Belmont Park in Elmont, New York will play host to the Grade 3 Bed o’ Roses Handicap on Saturday, June 21. Street Girl – is coming off a good second to Midnight Lucky in the Grade 1 Humana Distaff at Churchill Downs for trainer Eddie Kenneally after a third in her only other 2014 start – an Allowance Optional Claiming in April. Street Girl finished 2013 with a seventh in the Grade 2 Go for Wand Handicap at Aqueduct, a fifth in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff and an OK third in the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes at Parx in September. She has just two wins, three seconds and three third place finishes in 17 career starts but has placed in both starts this year. Jose Lezcano gets the call from post 10 as Street Girl looks for her first graded stakes score as the co-high weight and 7-2 morning line favorite.
Merry Meadow – Mark Hennig trained filly enters off a terrific win on this track – in the Grade 3 Vagrancy Handicap by 3 3/4 lengths at 6-1 odds May 17 after a fourth in her graded stakes debt – the Grade 2 Barbara Fritchie at Laurel Park February 22 and two wins and a second in her previous three starts. The wins came in February and in December in Allowance Optional Claiming races at Aqueduct – the second came in a Starter Stakes on that same track December 27. She has 20 career starts with five wins, nine seconds and four third place finishes and will be looking to build on what was a terrific career-defining victory last time out. Merry Meadow has placed in 18 of 20 career starts and all seven starts on this track (two wins).Rajiv Maragh has the mount on the 118 pound co-high weight from post 8 as the 4-1 second choice on the morning line.
Five Star Momma – two time stakes winner had consecutive seconds – to Groupie Doll in the Grade 3 Hurricane Bertie and the minor Willa On the Move Stakes at Laurel Park December 28 before consecutive thirds in her last two starts – after setting the pace in the Grade 2 Inside Information Stakes at Gulfstream March 22 and last time out in the Grade 3 Vagrancy Handicap on this track May 17. She had three straight wins (two minor stakes) to close out her 2013 campaign and enters this weekend in decent form – three wins, two seconds and two thirds in her last seven starts overall. Javier Castellano will be in the saddle from gate 2 at 5-1 odds.
Lion D N A – Rudy Rodriguez trained mare made her graded stakes debut April 19 and finished fifth in the Grade 2 Distaff Handicap at Aqueduct and followed that with a terrific win in the minor Skipcat Stakes at Pimlico May 16. Before that she had 29 career starts with eight wins, six seconds and four third place finishes. She did have three straight wins at Aqueduct this past winter – the minor Correction Stakes February 1, the minor Interborough Stakes January 1 and a Starter Optional Claiming in December but had a fifth in a Starter Allowance before her graded stakes debut February 17. She has four wins and three seconds in her last 10 starts overall and will be looking for a breakthrough in graded stakes company Saturday. Lion D N A starts from the outside post with Manuel Franco in the reins at 6-1 odds.

Flattering Bea – is coming off a second in the minor Skipcat Stakes at Pimlico May 16 after a nice win in the minor Sugar Maple Stakes at Charles Town in April. Before that was a second in an Allowance, a sixth in the Grade 2 Barbara Fritchie Handicap in February and a second in the minor Safely Kept Stakes November 9. She has five wins and five seconds in 15 career starts but has yet to place in graded stakes company. Flattering Bea has a win and three seconds in her last five starts overall and will start for the first time in New York from post 3 with Gary Cruise aboard. She is listed at 10-1 odds.
Classic Point – Allen Jerkins pupil is coming off a last of sixth in the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Stakes here June 7 after an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Gulfstream on April 26 and three off-the-board finishes – a seventh the minor Hollywood Beach Stakes April 12, a fifth in the minor Florida Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Sprint in January and a fourth in the Grade 3 Sugar Swirl Stakes at Gulfstream December 14. She has 25 career starts with five wins, four seconds and a third place finish and will have Junior Alvarado aboard from post 9 having hit the board in just one of her last five starts.
Table Three Ten – Richard Mettee trained mare has eight career starts with three wins and a second place finish. Last time out was a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Parx May 12 after a fifth in the minor Hollywood Beach Stakes at Gulfstream in April and a tenth in an Allowance Optional Claiming in October. She has just one career graded stakes start – a fifth in the Grade 3 Rachel Alexandra Stakes at Fair Grounds in February, 2012. Table Three Ten looks overmatched in this one despite having the terrific John Velazquez in the saddle from the rail.
Ultimate Shopper – Eddie Kenneally trained colt has just four career starts with two wins, a second and a third place finish. She makes her stakes debut Saturday off an Allowance score here May 17 after a third and a second in a pair of Allowance races. Ultimate Shopper makes her stakes debut from post 4 with Jose Ortiz guiding her.
Hot Stones – has 10 career starts with five wins, three seconds and a third place finish. She enters having won three of her last five starts – all Allowance races at Aqueduct and is coming off a second in her stakes debut – the minor Critical Eye Stakes on this track May 31. Ode to Sami – is coming off an Allowance Optional Claiming score in her only 2014 start for trainer Gary Contessa after failing to place in her last three starts of 2013. She has 24 career starts with six wins, five seconds and three third place finished but has placed in just one of three career minor stakes starts – a third in the minor Raging Fever Stakes at Aqueduct in November, 2012. Cornelio Velazquez has the mount from gate 6 as Ode to Sami looks for her second straight win.
Calistoga – legendary trainer Bill Mott sends out Calistoga for her seventh career start. She has three wins and a third place finish in six career starts including an Allowance Optional Claiming last time out – on this track May 8.
