Members of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association (KTA) and Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders (KTOB) Board of Directors serve three-year terms and are elected by the full membership of the organization.
Newly elected Board Members are:
Whit Beckman – Thoroughbred Trainer
Kelsey Danner – Thoroughbred Trainer
Austin Luttrell – Owner, Tisbury Stud
Michael Snyder – Co-owner, Pattons Creek Farm
Incumbents William Daugherty, Walker Hancock, Dermot Ryan, and Kim Smith were reelected. We would like to thank Patrick Costello and James Baker for their service. Pat and Jimmy were instrumental in both shaping policy for marketing investments and our advocacy for racing economics which have made Kentucky racing the strongest in North America.
Elections for a larger cohort of 13 will be held in June 2025, and we are encouraging individuals who previously ran for our board to reconsider, as well as inviting new expressions of interest. Those interested can send an email to accounting@kta-ktob.com.
