Abhishek Sharma has come up with a gigantic effort with the bat in the ongoing fifth T20I against England. The opening batter looked in sublime touch right from the start and took attack to the England National Cricket Team bowlers right from the start, hitting them all over the park.

Abhishek Sharma got to his half-century in just 17 balls, registering second fastest half-century for India

Abhishek Sharma played second fiddle to Sanju Samson at first. But after the right-hander was out, he took the onus to himself and then didn’t look back. The left-hander was all over the England bowlers and didn’t put a foot wrong in his innings as he raced away to the half-century.

Abhishek Sharma got to his half-century in just 17 balls and became the batter with the second-fastest fifty for India National Cricket Team in the shortest format of the game. Currently, Yuvraj Singh holds the record of the fastest fifty for India, as he achieved the feat in 12 balls.

Abhishek Sharma, after getting to the half-century, activated his beast mode and put on an exhibition of high-class batting. He timed the ball to perfection and then reached his century in no time, slamming his second ton in the T20I format.
