India wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav has brought his team back into the game in the ongoing match against Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match between the two teams is underway at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia.
Australia are right on the track in the chase of 206 runs. They have been batting extremely well and have put India under tremendous pressure. Skipper Mitchell Marsh (37) along with Travis Head started off brutally and played sensational strokes all over the park.
After Mitchell Marsh got out, it seemed that India would slow up things but that wasn’t the case as Glenn Maxwell came out all guns blazing. The all-rounder came and played some magnificent strokes all over the park.
But it was Kuldeep Yadav, who made sure that he brought his team back into the game. The wrist-spinners produced a peach of a delivery to which the Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell had no clue and had to take the long walk back to the pavilion.
On the 1st ball of the 14th over, Kuldeep Yadav bowled a loopy full delivery, to which Glenn Maxwell walked down the wicket for a big slog across the line. He swung through thin air and missed the ball completely to see his stumps getting shattered.
Glenn Maxwell walked out too early and showed his cards too early. As Kuldeep Yadav saw him coming for a big shot, the wrist-spinner adjusted accordingly and outfoxed the batter to remove him after having a brutal start with the bat.
