The five-match Test series between the India National Cricket Team and the Australia National Cricket Team will begin on 22nd November in Perth.

With the Test series between India and Australia around the corner, experts made their predictions for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Adam Gilchrist backed his team to win the series by a margin of 3-2, saying that he is biased. Speaking to Star Sports, he explained:
“So who wins? For me, Australia. 3-2, just. I’m a little bit biased, but you don’t have to take my opinion.”
Cheteshwar Pujara believes that Australia have an edge in the series but feels that the Indian team can complete a hat-trick of wins in Australia. He elaborated:
“Australia has the edge. They are the favourites to win this series. Can we make it a hat trick? Yes, I’m very confident that this team has the, you know, capacity to do that, but yes, Australia does have the edge in this series.”
David Warner backed Australia National Cricket Team to win the series by the margin of 4-0. He said: “My prediction is Australia’s going to win 4-0”
I’m still going with this series, two all and one match draw – India legend Harbhajan Singh’s claim on Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25
Harbhajan Singh claimed that Pat Cummins-led side are stronger than before but he believes that the Test series between the teams will end in a draw by the margin of 2-2. He elaborated:
“Looking at both the sides, I think Australia is looking a little stronger than before, whereas India here with a lot of youngsters, but not to forget, they have Virat Kohli, who loves batting in Australia, and they have some quality bowlers in their lineup as well. So I’m still going with this series, two all and one match draw.”
Brad Hogg backed the Australia National Cricket Team, saying that they would take control of the series in the first three games. He added:
“I think Australia will win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It’s not going to be easy, but starting in Perth and Brisbane and also having a day-night test match in Adelaide, those first three test matches is where Australia will take control.”
Irfan Pathan, and Robin Uthappa make their prediction for Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25
Irfan Pathan said: “As far as the prediction goes, mind says 4-1 Australia, Heart says 3-2 India.”
Robin Uthappa was confident that India would win the BGT 2024-25, pointing out they have a side that can create history. He explained:
“I think we’ll win the BGT. I think India is going to win the BGT. I think India has got the side to do it, and I think they’re going to win it this time.”
