The Gujarat Titans (GT) franchise is likely to part ways with head coach Ashish Nehra ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. According to recent reports, the Gujarat Titans franchise is expected not to extend Ashish Nehra’s contract for next year’s tournament as they have decided to revamp the entire coaching staff.
Ashish Nehra joined as head coach of the franchise ahead of the IPL 2022 season. The team clinched the title in their maiden IPL season by defeating the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the final match. The Titans reached the summit clash in the subsequent IPL edition but failed to defeat MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
According to Cricbuzz, the Gujarat Titans are considering changes to their coaching staff for the upcoming season. Vikram Solanki has been the director of cricket, and Gary Kirsten has served as a mentor and batting coach. The GT management plans to make some changes to their staff ahead of the mega auction.
